Microsoft’s Xbox feature is now available for all Windows 11 PCs

Microsoft is now rolling out its Xbox feature to all Windows 11 PCs. The new Xbox mode adds a full-screen experience to the Xbox PC app, similar to Steam’s Big Picture Mode, and was originally released as Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) with Asus’ Xbox Ally hardware.

“Some players in select markets will be able to download the Xbox version today, with availability expanding to more players in these markets over the next few weeks,” says the Xbox team. You will be able to get the Xbox feature by installing the latest Windows 11 update.

Xbox mode wants to try and open the gap between Xbox consoles and Windowsbut its first appearance seems to be a beta on Xbox Ally devices. “Since we launched Xbox mode, formerly known as the ‘full screen experience,’ on Windows handhelds, we’ve been listening closely to player feedback and continuing to improve the experience across all devices,” says the Xbox team. “The tutorial created the Xbox interface on Windows 11 PCs.”
