The Reds are looking to bolster their attack ahead of the start of the new season
“Liverpool” has made the first official offer to acquire Ivorian winger Yann Diomande, the star of Leipzig, reports the German press.
Philipp Hinze of Germany’s Sky Sports said on Thursday that the offer was worth around 100 million euros, including bonuses of around 90 million euros as a fixed fee, on top of 10 million euros in add-ons and incentives.

Despite the high value of the offer, Leipzig rejected Liverpool, as the German club wants to keep the Ivorian player for at least one more season.
Hinze added that any offer that could be acceptable to Leipzig would have to exceed the €100 million barrier by a clear margin, indicating the club’s intention to improve Diomande’s contract and increase his wages.
New offer
Liverpool, on the other hand, are set to soon present a new and improved offer after rejecting the first package as part of an effort to strengthen their attack with strong deals, especially following the departure of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah at the end of last season.
The English club is well aware of the football player’s personal conditions and does not expect any complications in this matter, provided that an agreement is reached with Leipzig on the value of the transaction.
For their part, Paris Saint-Germain have yet to make any official bid for Yann Diomande, despite earlier reports that the Champions League winners are interested in the Ivory Coast star, who shone in the Elephants’ 1-0 win over Ecuador in the first round of the World Cup.
It is noteworthy that “Liverpool” announced today, earlier on Thursday, that it has officially signed a contract with the Spanish striker Victor Muñoz, who arrived from Osasuna.
