The Saudi Arabian club has opened deals for Rushan League clubs from the 2026 World Cup, which is currently hosted by the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
Some reports suggest that some Roshan League clubs are turning their attention to the World Cup to sign new deals from players who perform well in the World Cup.
Saudi journalist Khudeir Al-Buraq, who specializes in covering news from Saudi Arabia’s first division, the Yellow League, has revealed the first of these deals, which have been struck by newly promoted Roshan League club Diriya.
Al-Burak wrote in his personal account on the “X” website that the “Diriya” club signed a contract with the international goalkeeper, who mainly participated in the first round of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with his country’s national team, without revealing his identity.
Al-Diriya are keen to seal a solid deal to build on their historic first season in the Roshan League after progressing to the last play-off at Al-Ula’s expense last May.
