2027 Women’s World Cup: England face Greece in the knockout stages as Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales study the opposition.


England have been drawn against Greece in the first round of the 2027 Women’s World Cup play-offs.

The Lions will have to go through two rounds of home and away games to qualify for the tournament in Brazil.

If England beat Greece, they will face the winner of Ukraine at home in Slovakia.

Bid dates are to be confirmed, but matches will take place in October, November and December.

Although England won 5 of their 6 qualifying matches, Spain topped the group and secured an automatic place.

Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Republic of Ireland have confirmed who will play for the World Cup.

In Group One, Wales will play Albania, Scotland will play the Czech Republic and Northern Ireland will play Portugal.

Meanwhile, Republic of Ireland play Kazakhstan.
