Celtic’s voice in Monday’s title opener against Dundee

There are two games on Sunday as newly-reformed St Johnstone make their return against Kilmarnock in Perth before Hibernian host Motherwell.

The first Old Firm derby will be on Sunday 20th September at Celtic Park (12pm).

Edinburgh rivals Hibs and Hearts go head-to-head at Easter Road on Wednesday, September 2, while there is a Dundee derby at Dens Park in the third round.

New Rangers manager Derek McInnes will return to Tynecastle on Wednesday 28 October after leaving Hearts.

Again, there is no place in the schedule for winter break.

Tournament 33 gets underway on April 10, with the five rounds of split fixtures concluding on the weekend of May 15/16.

It is a recent memory of last season when Celtic beat Hearts in the dying minutes of the final to claim their fifth successive title.
