The new GuliKit port for Switch 2 lets you play with or without a TV

At 105 grams, GuliKit’s TV Docking Station for Switch 2 is significantly lighter than the 381 gram dock that Nintendo ships with its latest console. It also has a very small footprint, weighing in at 3.4 inches on each side and 1 inch long. It may be a little larger than other mobile docks that mount to the wall (GuliKit uses the Switch 2’s AC adapter), but it’s also designed to hold your console while it’s connected to the TV, even if it’s in a. defense case. Underneath the GuliKit port is a switch that raises the USB-C connector to support more charging.

On the back of the port is an HDMI port supporting 4K/60Hz, 2K/120Hz, and 1080p/240Hz, which will not work for Nintendo. There’s also a USB-C port for power, a USB-A port for charging things like controllers, and a button that switches the port between TV Docking Mode and Desktop Charging Mode. This last option allows you to play on your Switch screen while it’s charging through the port instead of sending the video to the TV.
