Who wins the Argentinian star deal?
Arsenal are continuing to push hard to secure a deal for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez in the summer transfer window to bolster their front line next season.
Alvarez is putting up a fiery fight in the summer MercatoReal Madrid made an offer of 150 million euros, but it was rejected by Atletico Madrid.
While Barcelona remain Alvarez’s first choice to bolster their attack next season, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are also interested in the Argentine star.
In turn, Jordi Jota, journalist of the Spanish “El Chiringuito” program, announced that “Atletico” Madrid reached an agreement with “Arsenal” regarding Alvarez.
Jota said: “Last Sunday, Gilles Marin called Laporta to tell him that Julian (Alvarez) was not for sale. My question is that Julián is not really for sale because Atletico have reached a final agreement with Arsenal to sell Alvarez.”
He explained that this agreement includes a €50 million transfer fee in addition to the signing of Gunners striker Victor Giokeres to Atlético.
