Sean Penn will direct the January 6 drama starring Bradley Cooper Sean Penn

Sean Penn will direct a new film about the January 6 riots that will take place Bradley Cooper.

According to Deadlinestar, who recently he won His second Oscar, he will bring what has been described as a “dream project” to the screen and act as a writer and director.

The yet-to-be-titled drama will follow the life of a police officer who gets confused in the violence in 2021. Cooper is said to be in talks to play him.

The film is also called an “unexpected story about friendship” that will be made based on a real story whose details are now being kept under wraps.

Penn attended The meeting of the House committee of January 6 in 2022, he calls himself “another citizen” who came to see.

“I think we all saw what happened on January 6, and now we’re looking to see if justice comes out on the other side,” he said.

Penn too already to be mentioned to Donald Trump as an “enemy of the people” and a “narcissist”.

The multi-hyphenate was recently seen in a comedy by Paul Thomas Anderson One Battle After Anothera performance that won him his second Oscar. He he was never found prize as he was in Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
