Bayern put an end to Real Madrid’s bid for Olisse with a huge offer

Bayern Munich are set to double the wages of French star Michael Ollisset to 22 million euros a year to match those of Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala, who earn around 25 million euros a year, in a move aimed at keeping hold of what many consider to be the best French player at the moment.

According to Germany’s Bild, “Bayern are willing to do anything to keep their star, who joined them in 2024 for €50m”, as the Bavarian club look to extend the contract of the player, who currently earns €12m per year, which could rise to €16m with bonuses, stating that “annual negotiations will start between €2m”. His team is expected to present arguments to increase this initial proposal.

Olisse is highly anticipated at the 2026 World Cup as he will be one of coach Didier Deschamps’ most popular players, while many believe he is the best French player at the moment, ahead of Dembele and Mbappe.

Numerous press reports have suggested Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Olissier’s services, with many media linking him with Real Madrid, who are desperate for him. However, the door was firmly closed, as a member of the board of directors of “Bayern Munich” told “L’Equipe” newspaper a few days ago.
