Is the G7 still working? | | Political Affairs

Leaders of the world’s major economies will gather in France for the annual G7 summit this week.

This is the first meeting since the Iran war, which has caused divisions in the group, with members criticizing the United States for a lack of cooperation before launching attacks.

The consequences of the war – from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz to prevent damage – are very difficult for the leaders of the G7.

Other issues expected to be central to the talks are the Russia-Ukraine conflict and economic relations with China.

But will the G7 manage to change the geopolitical dynamics?
