A strong blow to Real Madrid in the Negra case

One of the electoral tools that Florentino Perez used to remain the president of Real Madrid was to take a tough stance on the Negera issue.

Peres announced at the time that he would use the Champions League final to hand over the massive 500-page file to UEFA president Aleksandar Cevrin.

“Sport” newspaper reported that Peres fulfilled his promise and handed over the case to Tsifrin, but these documents do not have any legal value for the European Union to make a decision on them.

That won’t happen, at least not until the Spanish judiciary makes a final ruling on Negrea’s case.

According to “La Vanguardia” newspaper, the European Union respects the procedures of each country and does not interfere in them, especially in cases that exceed the powers of trade unions, when they turn into a judicial process.

This is the main point that makes UEFA unable to intervene and makes everything sent by Florentino Perez on behalf of Real Madrid ineffective as the matter is in the hands of the courts.

Even Spanish bodies such as La Liga, the Spanish Football Federation and the Supreme Sports Council have not imposed any sanctions on their part.
