In his resignation letter to the Prime Minister, Haley stated that the defense investment plan “falls short of what is needed for defense and the country at this critical time”. The question will now be what lies ahead for the prime minister, the sixth minister to resign from Starmer’s cabinet in less than a month, and one of his most loyal.
