I read an amazing statistic about New Zealand, that they only have about 60 professional footballers in the world.
Going into this World Cup as a country they are punching above their weight and to get their first win in their third finals is a big deal.
They’ve got some decent players like ‘wood-chopper’ Chris Wood above and their playmaker Sarpreet Singh and I’m looking forward to seeing a good footballer like Motherwell midfielder Elijah Just.
They will face an Iran team that has a lot of problems away from home and will be in Mexico, not the United States, where they will play three group games.
