Turki Al-Sheikh answers: Will Al-Ahly play against Messi and Ronaldo in Riyadh season?

Councilor Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the Entertainment Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, revealed the truth about the invitation to the Egyptian club “Al-Ahly” to participate in the international tournament of the season in Riyadh, which was reported in the last few hours.

The former president of Smouha Club, Mohamed Farag Amer, wrote on his Facebook page: “Turkey Al-Sheikh communicates with Al-Ahly Board of Directors and Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib to confirm Al-Ahly’s invitation to the season’s friendly tournament in Riyadh”.

He claimed that this tournament will include Al-Ahly (Egypt), Al-Nasr, Al-Hilal and Inter Miami and its prizes will reach $10 million.

Turki Al-Sheikh was content with one sentence in response to what Amer said, as he reposted the post and wrote commenting on it: “This statement has no basis in truth.”

Egypt’s Al-Ahly finished last season without a league win, while finishing third in the domestic league behind tournament champions Zamalek and Egyptian Cup runners-up Pyramids.
