Middleweight champion Shawn Strickland has not been barred from attending Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House, organization head Dana White said.
The event is scheduled to take place on the South Lawn of the White House on President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday as part of the celebration of 250 years of American independence.
Last week Strickland claimed the campaign barred him from the event because of comments he made about Trump, Israel and the Epstein file.
Speaking Tuesday, White dismissed Strickland’s claims but said attendance would be limited because “there are only 4,300 tickets.”
“Shaun Strickland is definitely not banned (from the event),” said White, who then joked: “Shaun Strickland is banned from Humanity. We don’t want him around any human being.”
