Queen’s 2026: Jack Draper will miss the tournament after returning from injury

England number three Jack Draper will not play at Queen’s next week after returning from injury.

Draper, a semi-finalist in London last year, has not competed since retiring from his only clay-court match of the season in Barcelona on April 13 due to right knee tendon problems.

“The recovery is going the right way, but I’m going to give myself another week and aim to get back to Eastbourne,” said the 24-year-old.

“It’s too hard to miss one of my favorite events of the year.”

The women’s tournament at Queen’s, which began on Monday, will end on Sunday and the men’s will begin the following day

The Eastbourne Open runs from June 22-27 and Wimbledon starts on June 29.
