Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro in new Madonna video

Chelsea Forwards Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro swapped the football pitch for a movie set as they made a surprise appearance in a promotional image for pop star Madonna’s new album.

Palmer and Pedro, who were left out of the England and Brazil World Cup squads respectively, are among the high-profile names featured in Confessions II – The Film.

The 14-minute video was unveiled by Madonna at the Tribeca Festival in New York on Friday and uploaded to her YouTube channel on Monday.

Palmer and Pedro appear about six minutes into the video when they approach Madonna at a urinal.

Award-winning British actor Benedict Cumberbatch appears later in the film.

Palmer was left out of England’s 26-man squad for the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico in a season due to injury.

Pedro scored 20 goals in all competitions in his first season but was overlooked by Brazil. Chelsea.
