Gabriel Bortoleto – 4/10
He could have fought for Q3 but a crash at the Nouvelle chicane spoiled the Audi driver’s weekend.
George Russell 6/10
Difficult weekend. He doesn’t seem to need the pace to match his Mercedes teammate Antonelli. On top of that, unnecessary penalties and more success in the championship race.
Nico Hulkenberg – 6/10
It started strongly, faded in the qualifiers but chaos could have ended with a points bar penalty.
Franco Colapinto – 4/10
The last few races looked really good but Monaco just didn’t click. I miss him so much with the wall and I don’t know how he didn’t leave it for a while. While his Alpine teammate Gasly could be on the podium, he was nowhere to be seen and had an unnecessary clash with science.
Sergio Perez – 2/10
Unfortunately, what would have been a good result was canceled out by not one but two penalties for not being on the grid and costing Cadillac their first point. What makes matters worse is Alonso’s disqualification, so Cadillac is in last place in the Constructors’ Championship as a result.
Carlos Sanz – 6/10
He played his team game but fell behind Williams team-mate Albon this weekend.
Max Verstappen 8/10
A powerful round to qualify only to miss out on pole. Verstappen-like was expecting things to go down into turn one but unfortunately it was not to be with Red Bull engine issues.
Charles Leclerc – 6/10
It wasn’t the end of Leclerc’s tale, but even before the crash he wasn’t happy with the Ferrari team, whether it was the brakes or the pit strategy. He doesn’t take off his pace here, but falls away from it effectively and eventually puts his car against the wall.
Lando Norris 6/10
He started and finished behind his McLaren team-mate Piastiri and was overtaken by Gasli at the start. He eventually had to retire for the second grand prix in a row.
Oliver Bearman – 5/10
He was a bit unlucky in his timing to qualify but didn’t put the lap together when it counted.
Valtteri Bottas – 3/10
He was once again outclassed by his Cadillac team-mate Perez and was unable to join the cars of Alonso or Haas.
Lance Stroll – 4/10
Another weekend of wrestling. Final qualification and failure in the competition.
