Led by Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr… a four-way race to land the first Roshen star

The race to sign the Roche Pro League star has heated up in the upcoming summer transfer window, driven by clubs’ desire to strengthen their ranks.

Al-Etifaq’s Khaled Al-Ghannam was one of the Saudi League’s most popular stars last season, topping the list of top contributors for local players, scoring 13 goals and assisting 7 others, cementing his position as one of the tournament’s most important attacking elements.

According to Saudi newspaper Al-Bilad, Al-Ittihad Club have expressed a serious interest in signing the player as part of a plan to bolster their ranks with local standouts who could make a difference next season.

The interest is not limited to Dean, as Al-Nasr management have inquired about the player’s status and the possibility of signing him during the summer Mercato, given the club’s belief in light of his potential and ability to add new attacking solutions to the team.

Both Al-Qadissia and Al-Diriya have also been linked with interest in Al-Ghannam, making the deal one of the hottest files in the Saudi transfer market this summer.

This heightened interest comes after the player’s remarkable season with Al-Etifaq, where he regularly combined goals and assists to become the most influential Saudi player in the attacking third last season.
