There were terrifying moments in a friendly between Denmark and Ukraine after Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen fell to the ground alone without any contact, a scene reminiscent of the player’s tragic incident years ago that forced the referee to stop the match immediately and rush the player to hospital.

Eriksen suddenly collapsed on the pitch during a friendly match amid panic and shock among the players, technical staff and fans present.

Urgent medical intervention

Medical staff immediately intervened to administer first aid to the 34-year-old player before he was taken to hospital on a stretcher for necessary medical examinations and health checks.
