Marc Marquez claimed his 100th career MotoGP win at the Hungarian Grand Prix

Marquez said he was “overjoyed” as he marked his milestone win as he crossed the line standing on his bike, then celebrated with a red ‘100’ flag.

“Costly (hard-earned) win because it changed everything after last year,” said Marquez, whose 2025 season ended early when he hurt his shoulder in a collision with Bezeci.

“But that’s how sports are. From one day to another, one can change everything.”

He added: “I learned that in 2020,” referring to his withdrawal from the 2020 season after breaking his hand in an opening-round crash.

Márquez also led from flag to flag ahead of Acosta and Bezeci in Saturday’s sprint.

Second in the overall standings, Martin finished sixth in the sprint, allowing Bezecchi to extend his lead to 20 points.
