Brazil star Neymar is ready to take on the awaited challenge of the World Cup with a different touch, a move he has become accustomed to before key stages of his career, as he continues to work on regaining full fitness ahead of the official start of the tournament hosted by the United States of America, Canada and Mexico next Thursday.

Neymar has changed his look in preparation for the 2026 World Cup, as the Brazil captain sported a new haircut in a video his hairdresser posted on Instagram on Saturday night, saying: May the sixth title come your way.”

Neymar opted for a hairstyle very similar to the 2018 World Cup when he played for Paris Saint-Germain, sporting a bolder blonde hair color compared to his previous look.

The change comes days before the start of Brazil’s World Cup campaign, where it begins its journey with a game while the player continues his treatment program to recover from a leg muscle injury. According to Globo, Neymar expects to return to football training next week amid optimism that he will be ready to take part in the tournament with Brazil, which he previously described as the last of his international career.

While Brazil’s delegation was in Cleveland for a friendly in which they beat Egypt 2-1 early on Sunday, Neymar remained in New Jersey to continue physical therapy and rehabilitation away from the group.
