Fifth stop.. New Saudi club set their sights on Hamdallah

The Moroccan striker is the second top scorer of all time in the Rushen League

The new Saudi Arabian club have set their sights on Moroccan Abdel Razak Hamdallah, the Al-Shabaab striker, in a bid to sign him in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Saudi newspaper Al-Youm reports that Al-Taawoun club management have included Hamdallah among their attacking options they want to include during next summer’s Mercato.

The Moroccan striker could be the perfect alternative to Soukary Al-Qassim, given his Colombia star Roger Martinez has so far not signed a contract extension, as the latter wants a big money extension.

If Al-Taawoun manage to sign Hamdallah, it will be his fifth stop in the Roshen League, after Al-Nasr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Shabaab, in addition to Al-Hilal, for whom he played on loan at the 2025 Club World Cup.

The 35-year-old has a long history in the Roshan League as he is the second top scorer in the competition with 150 goals since the start of the professional era, five behind Syrian striker Omar Al-Somah.

Hamdallah is close to leaving Al-Shabaab, for whom he has played for the past two seasons, following a crisis that brought him together with the club’s management at the end of last season, which led to his exit from the final rounds of the Roshen League.
