While these explanations are widely held, others believe that the picture does not provide conclusive evidence of an altercation between the players, especially since they may have exchanged greetings before the cameras appeared or earlier outside the frame of the shot.

For his part, the French journalist Saber Desfarges, who works for the TF1 network, denied the existence of any crisis between the two stars, stressing that the circulating clip does not prove anything.

Desfarges described as “nonsense” the rumors of a dispute between Mbappé and Kante, stressing that what is circulating is not based on any reliable information, at a time when the French team continues to prepare for the World Cup.
