The mid-term vacation from hell continues and the consequences of Dan and Jess’s ignorance become apparent. Zoe (the brilliant Jessica Raine) feels liberated and wants to let go of her hair; A fancy dress party for Gods and Monsters at the home of weirdos Flick and James seems like a good opportunity. But things go awry in a variety of fun and dangerous ways. Great fun. Phil Harrison

We are all in this together. It may seem like an obvious message to push kids who will flock to watch the latest Pixar movies. But when it’s as dramatic as Daniel Chong’s sci-fi comedy adventure, you’ll be hard-pressed not to cheer along with the endangered animals. Mabel (voiced by Piper Curda) is our guide to a natural forest and water park near Beaverton. But when the planned highway causes the wild animals to scatter, he “jumps” his mind into a robotic beaver (built by his biology teacher) to track them down and save their herd. Filled with good villains, notorious villains and a killer shark named Diane, it’s a lie. Simon Wardell
The Curse of Frankenstein, 9.05pm, Talking Pictures TV
The first of what would be the famous “Hammer horrors” lines, Terence Fisher’s 1957 adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel still packs a punch. Failing to capture the character of Boris Karloff, the filmmakers created a gray, gray and incredibly violent creature. He didn’t even make it to the halfway point, but fortunately Peter Cushing – in his first acting role – dominates the screen as Baron Frankenstein, a free-spirited man leaping happily off the cliff. SW
Vermilion, 9.20pm, BBC Four

He has two fugitives from the war: his nephew and fellow Sicilian Pietro (Giuseppe De Domenico). But his eldest daughter Lucia (Martina Scrinzi) falls for Pietro, disrupting the family dynamic and testing parental and gender tensions to the point of collapse. SW
