European offers continued to chase Frenchman Moussa Diaby, the Al-Ittihad winger, and fellow Albanian full-back Mario Mita to move to the Old Continent next summer transfer window.
Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah reported that some French and Italian clubs are interested in signing Diab and Mitta next summer, but that interest has not progressed to official offers.
The newspaper clarified that “Dean” is open to the idea of the pair leaving the team next summer, provided that a suitable financial offer is reached.
Diaby was linked with a move to Inter Milan in the last winter transfer window, but Al-Ittihad have demanded €35 million, according to media reports.
The French winger in particular has suffered widespread criticism given his fluctuating performances with Al Ittihad and his failure to make the expected return last season, be it in the La Liga, Copa del Rey or the elite AFC Champions League.
Diaby’s contract with the Tigers expires in 2029, having joined from Aston Villa in the summer of 2024, the same period in which Mario Mittai joined on a contract extension until 2028.
