Real Madrid are set to make a whopping €150m bid to sign the superstar if Florentino Perez is re-elected as Royals president.
According to British newspaper The Telegraph, Perez spoke to Spanish media ahead of this weekend’s election, which he is expected to win over rival Enrique Riquelme, who has promised to sign Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Perez confirmed that if he wins Sunday’s election he will make an offer to include one of the players on Tuesday, and while he did not name the player targeted, he made it clear that he does not play in the English Premier League but is active for a Champions League club and is classified as a Galactico, much to the delight of Madrid.
Peres publicly denied that this was so in a conversation with the media Michael Olisse, Bayern Munich wingeris the player targeted, indicating that he is a younger player, but Telegraph Sport has learned that the 24-year-old winger is exactly the player the Real Madrid president was talking about.
The newspaper notes that Real Madrid are also interested in signing PSG midfielder Joao Neves, but it appears that Olissi is Perez’s priority, especially since Portugal’s Jose Mourinho, the Real Madrid coach whose appointment will be confirmed soon after Perez’s re-election, has made it clear to his president to sign the French player.
