Many of Belkin’s Switch 2 accessories are designed to protect or enhance Nintendo’s latest hardware, such as its own. Charge Case Pro that basically they do everything at the same time. Its new multitasking Charging Grip It can add another three to four hours of gameplay via the included 10,000mAh battery, and improves on the Switch 2’s ergonomics with beefier nonslip grips for the Joy-Con controllers.
Belkin’s Charging Grip now available through the company’s online store in black, lilac, and olive green for $99.99. A 10,000mAh magnetic battery sticks to the back of the Switch 2, but since the holder doesn’t work with magnets, you have to use the included protective case to attach it. There’s no wireless charging capability on the Switch 2, either, so the battery relies on a short integrated USB-C cable that delivers 30W of power through the top USB-C port. A small screen on the battery shows its remaining charge.
The case doesn’t prevent you from using the Switch 2’s kickstand, and Belkin says the console can still be docked in the TV dock with the included case, as long as you remove the battery. The Joy-Con grips can also be used with controllers that have been removed from the Switch 2, or locked in the hand.
