After Konate… Perez refuses to give up "Double deal"

Guardiol can play as a central or left back

Guardiol has been highly admired by Real Madrid since his time at Leipzig, particularly for his versatility as he can play at centre-back or left-back, making him a ‘double deal’.

Fran Garcia is expected to leave this summer and Ferlan Mendy’s return from long-term injury remains uncertain, leaving the Manchester City defender in two positions at the same time.

But the problem lies with Manchester City, who will try to convince Guardioli to extend his contract while increasing his wages to end doubts over his future, according to Croatian newspaper Jutarnji List.
