Barcelona have not yet officially announced the departure of their player Ansu Fati to Monaco during the 2026 summer Mercato.
Recently, some reports confirmed that “Monaco” will activate the option to buy Fati for 11 million euros, and that the contract with the Spanish striker has already been signed.
Mundo Deportivo reported that “Barcelona” does not want to sever relations with Ansu Fati, who was on loan at “Monaco” last season.
“Barcelona fear losing control of Fati and therefore want to include an option to buy back or receive a percentage of future sales to secure control over the player’s future.”
“Monaco” must activate the option to buy Fati until June 30.
