A strange incident in Tiger Castle
In the past few hours, Saudi club Al-Ittihad witnessed a strange incident after they agreed to sacrifice their player for half the price they signed him for without touching a ball in his shirt.
It refers to the Colombian striker Ricardo Caraballo, whom the Al-Ittihad club agreed to sell to the Bosnian club “Sarajevo”. In the next summer transfer period.
Saudi journalist Majid Hood reported through his personal account on the website X that the Bosnian club will sign the 22-year-old for less than half of what Al-Ittihad paid to sign the player.
It was not limited to this, as the “dean” will not receive this compensation immediately, but will be paid in several installments over two full seasons.
Caraballo joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2024 from Colombian side Barranquilla for €452,000, according to Transfermarkt, but he has not played a single match with the team.
Soon after his arrival in Jeddah, the Colombian striker was loaned out to Jeddah for a season before his loan was extended to Al-Anwar last season.
Carabalo performed well for Al-Anwar last season, scoring 10 goals and setting up 2 in 31 appearances, after scoring just 4 goals in 23 appearances for the Jeddah club.
