New penalty against White Castle
As soon as Zamalek Club closed its two international crisis files, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) surprised it with a new sanction that put White Castle back in the ban box.
On Tuesday evening, FIFA announced via its official platform the suspension of Zamalek’s registration for three consecutive transfer windows in a new case, the details of which have not yet been disclosed, bringing the total number of open documents against the club to 17.
The decision comes days after Zamalek announced two cases involving the debts of former coach Jose Gomez’s assistant duo, Luis Vestini Castro and João Espinoza Miguel, giving a temporary impression that the crisis was soon resolved.
According to the data published on the FIFA portal, the current cases are distributed among clubs, players and coaches from several continents, especially:
Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora due to commitments in the deal for Angolan Chico Panza.
The Belgian club “Charleroi” has the transfer file of Palestinian Uday Al-Dabbagh.
Moroccan club Nahdet Zemamra about the deal of defender Salah Mossadegh.
Ukrainian club “Olexandria” regarding the fees of Brazilian Juan Bezera.
Ittihad Tangier Club for not paying the dues of Abdelhamid Maali.
Swedish AEK club in the case of Palestinian striker Omar Faraj.
The new ruling puts Zamalek under more pressure ahead of the start of the summer transfer window, as the team will be banned from signing new deals for three terms, threatening its plans to compete in next season’s Egyptian league and African Champions League unless the outstanding issues are resolved quickly.
