The Italian coach did not perform well with Al-Zaim.
Media reports have revealed that there is a trend to remove Italian Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Al Hilal, from his position next season after the results deteriorated significantly last season.
Al Hilal have only won one title with Inzaghiwhich has been the keeper of the Two Holy Mosques Cup since being appointed last June, while it lost the Roshen League to Al-Nasr and the AFC Champions League Elite in the round of 16 to Al-Sadd.
After the end of the season, rumors spread in some pages about the tendency of Al-Zaim’s management to sack the Italian coach, given the complex structural changes made by the new club owner. Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.
However, Saudi journalist Abdulaziz Al-Muraisal categorically denied this news in a tweet through his personal account on the “X” website.
Al-Mursal wrote: “Inzaghi continues with Al-Hilal and he is the main pillar of the Al-Hilal project, which aims to fight for the World Cup.”
Notably, the Italian coach managed Al Hilal in the last edition of the Club World Cup in America and managed to reach the quarter-finals after defeating Manchester City in the round of 16 before losing to Fluminense.
