The “Real” deal opens the doors of the European giant to Carvajal

As the 2026 summer transfer window approaches, the European mercato is witnessing exceptional activity in the pursuit of defenders as many big clubs look to strengthen their defensive line in preparation for the new season.

Notable among these clubs are Real Madrid and Inter Milan, who appear to be on the verge of collaborating in direct and indirect deals to bolster each other’s right-back.

According to journalist Alberto Pereiro, Inter Milan could become a possible destination for Real Madrid legend Dani Carvajal, who recently left Los Blancos at the end of his contract, ending a 13-year career with the Spanish giants.

The 34-year-old is now available as a free agent and Inter Milan appear to be clearly interested in him.

Carvajal, who was left out of Spain’s World Cup squad, wants to continue competing at the highest level in Europe.

Inter is looking for a new right back Due to the imminent move of Denzel Dumfries to Real Madrid. Another target for the Nerazzurri is Atalanta’s Marco Balestra.
