Your comprehensive guide to buying Morocco World Cup tickets
It’s a very exciting time to be a Moroccan football fan. The Atlas Lions rewrote history at the Qatar 2022 World Cup by becoming the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the biggest tournament on earth. Since then, they’ve maintained their momentum and are now looking to make another strong showing in North America this summer.
This will be Morocco’s seventh appearance at the FIFA World Cup finals. They made their debut on the world stage in Mexico in 1970, but before reaching the semi-finals in 2022, they had only made it past the group stage once, in Mexico in 1986. Even 40 years ago, the Atlas Lions were setting new standards by becoming the first African and Arab team to qualify for the 16th World Cup in history.
Can Morocco make a splash on the world stage again? You can be in North America in person to find out. Let’s review the latest 2026 World Cup ticket information on Kooora, including how to secure your seats and how much they cost.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held from 11 June to 19 July 2026, spanning 16 host cities across Canada, Mexico and the United States.
There will be 104 matches in 34 days across North America. For the first time, the tournament will include 48 teams and will be jointly hosted by three countries.
The host cities for the 2026 World Cup are as follows:
| the date | Meeting (local time) | pitch | Tickets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saturday, June 13 | Morocco – Brazil (18:00) | MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford) | Tickets |
| Friday, June 19 | Morocco – Scotland (18:00) | Gillette Stadium (Foxboro) | Tickets |
| Wednesday, June 24 | Morocco – Haiti (18:00) | Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta) | Tickets |
Morocco’s defensive prowess was on display in their opening 2022 World Cup group stage match in Qatar, where they were held to a 0-0 draw by Croatia. They also held off Belgium impressively, even scoring twice to secure their first World Cup victory in more than two decades. Another win against Canada saw the Atlas Lions qualify for the knockout stages as group leaders, just as they did in Mexico 1986.
Walid Regragu’s side will need to be focused from the start this summer as they face one of the toughest opening tasks ever. Morocco begin their group campaign against Brazil in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Notably, the five-time World Cup winners have not failed to qualify for the group stage since 1966, despite losing to African rivals Cameroon in the 2022 opening round.
Scotland await their next game in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The Tartan Army are returning to the World Cup for the first time since 1998 and they have failed to win any of their group games. In fact, Scotland have not reached the knockout stages in their previous eight World Cups, winning just four games in total over the years.
On paper, Morocco’s easiest test in the group looks set to come at the end as they travel to Atlanta to face Haiti, whose only previous World Cup appearance came 52 years ago. In Germany in 1974, the Caribbean team lost all three of their group matches, conceding 14 goals.
Morocco haven’t taken their foot off the accelerator since their impressive run at the previous World Cup and are currently ranked 11th in the FIFA world rankings. They have won all eight of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers and lost just twice in the last two years. In addition to recently winning the Arab Cup, Morocco also won the African Nations Championship last summer. They are now on a journey to seek greater glory on home soil where they are currently hosting the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Atlas Lions continued to shine under the leadership of Walid Regraghi, who made a smooth transition from local club coach to managing the national team. Since taking over in August 2022, Morocco have won more than 70% of their matches.
Regragi has an abundance of talented people to work with. There is an experienced core that includes the likes of Ayoub El Kaabi, Sofiane Amrabat, Nousair Mazraoui and of course Ashraf Hakim, the 2025 African Ballon d’Or winner and Champions League winner with Paris Saint-Germain.
Overall, though, it’s a very balanced squad with a number of young up and coming stars like Liverpool’s Elias Bensgir and Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz. The future also looks bright for Morocco after they won the Under-20 World Cup in October, where Ousmane Mama and Yassir Zubiri stood out.

Fans have several opportunities to purchase tickets for matches involving Morocco via the FIFA website between now and the start of the major tournament in June.
While several rounds of sales have already taken place, such as the Visa Sale Lottery (September) and the Early Bird Draw (October), there are two additional rounds as shown below:
The draw for the 2026 World Cup is over and the group matches are already known, the next round of ticket sales will start from December 11 and will continue until January 13.
At this stage, fans will be able to submit requests for specific matches. Tickets are sold at a fixed price and successful applicants will be notified if they win tickets in February.
As the tournament approaches (Spring 2026), fans will be able to purchase remaining tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
FIFA hasn’t said how many tickets will be released or for which games, but you can expect limited availability and a quick sell-out.
To purchase tickets, you must visit the official FIFA ticket portal and register for an account. You can then log into your FIFA account and check for ticket availability.
As the time nears, and if tickets sell out (which is likely), fans can also head to the secondary market on sites like: StubHub:where resale will be available on a fan-to-fan basis at variable prices.
The primary and most reliable place to secure seats for Morocco matches is the official FIFA ticket portal, as all World Cup tickets are released there first.
Fans must register for a FIFA ID to participate in the various sales stages, which include early pre-sales, random selection drawings and later first-time releases.
In addition to pre-releases, FIFA also runs its own official resale and exchange market. This is the only platform approved by FIFA for fans who want to resell or buy already sold tickets.
Availability on the resale platform is often limited and sporadic, especially as matches approach, but it remains the safest option for purchasing tickets outside of the initial sales stages. A special exchange market for Mexican fans (Mercado de Intercambio) handles local resale transactions under the same official guarantees.
For those who miss the official FIFA windows or need tickets for specific dates or cities, secondary ticket sites such as: StubHub: or Tikombo World Cup tickets will also be offered. These platforms offer greater flexibility, but generally at much higher prices due to demand-driven resale markets.
Fans looking at third-party marketplaces should exercise caution, as unofficial sites carry risks of authenticity, portability, and inflated prices. It’s important to only rely on reputable platforms that offer strong buyer guarantees and clear refund policies.
