Enzo has been nominated to join Real Madrid. Will the Royals agree to the Blues’ demands?
Chelsea have made their financial demands to release Argentina star Enzo Fernandez amid growing interest from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
As reported by the British “Daily Mail” newspaper, “Chelsea” will not sell Enzo for less than 120 million pounds.
The paper adds that Chelsea’s management do not feel under any pressure to sell the 25-year-old midfielder and are committed to getting what they feel is a fair price, especially as they paid him £106m after Argentina’s 2022 World Cup triumph.
The report states that Fernandes wants to know his next destination before the start of the 2026 World Cup, which could prompt his representatives to step up negotiations with the Royals in the coming period.
The Daily Mail said Real Madrid could look to include one or more players in any potential deal to reduce the asking price, but talks between the two sides have yet to touch on specific names.
The report also states that Chelsea were among the most prominently interested in signing young Spanish defender Dean Howesen before his £50million move to Real Madrid last summer.
The report explains that this deal could be the key to Enzo’s move to Real Madrid, as Heussen enjoys the admiration of new coach Xabi Alonso, who previously coached him at Real Madrid last season.
