The former star of “Arsenal” demands Arteta to release 3 players

Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has demanded that Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta let go of three players in the summer transfer window after missing out on the Champions League title.

Emmanuel Petit urged his former team to sell the trio of Gabriel Martinelli, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus before the next season.

Arteta is keen to ensure his team’s continued success in the future and knows he needs to improve on the left side of his attack, as well as at centre-forward and right-back.

In order for Arsenal to sign new players, they will have to let go of some of their current players, while Beatty has called for the front three to be sold, according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”.

While Bukayo Saka has proven his worth as a right winger, Arsenal are struggling to find a suitable replacement for the 24-year-old, with Noni Madueke, who was signed last summer, proving to be an unlikely player in that position.

Likewise, the left wing has been an issue for Arteta, with both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli often putting in inconsistent performances and neither clearly establishing themselves as first choice.

“I think it’s easy to see what Arsenal lack, for me it’s the wings,” Beatty said, according to the Daily Mail.

He added: “You need strong wingers with high technical skills who can make the difference on the flanks.”

The Frenchman continued: “For me, I will sell Martinelli and Jesus… As for Jokeris, I don’t know because he just joined the club.”

He continued his statements. “I’ll keep Trossard. As for Madueke, he doesn’t live up to my expectations. Unfortunately, he needs to put in a lot more effort to improve.”

He concluded. “But we definitely need wingers and probably a striker with speed, technical skills and great movement… We need to improve at the start.”
