Nvidia entered the world of laptop chips with the RTX Spark, and a number of hardware manufacturers already have the hardware to do so. Microsoft, Asus, HP, MSI, Lenovo, and Dell are expected to be launched RTX Spark laptops sometime this fall, and some of the companies involved have shared more information about what we can expect.
The common feature shared by all the upcoming startups is this Nvidia RTX Spark superchip from Armalthough there are several models to come. The flagship model unveiled by Nvidia at Computex includes 20 CPU cores, 6,144 GPU cores, and 128GB of LPDDR5X memory – making it almost the same as a GB10 chip inside. Nvidia’s DGX Spark “personal AI supercomputer.” Other models with as little memory as 16GB will come later, according to Nvidia.
