The future of Egypt national team captain and one of world football’s biggest stars, Mohamed Salah, is now under the spotlight following the end of one of the most successful spells of his professional career with Liverpool, after the two sides agreed to terminate his contract before its original expiry in the summer of 2027.
Between huge financial offers from several directions and his continued desire to compete for major titles, the Egyptian star faces a fateful decision that could define his final years at the stadium amid public and media speculation about where he will choose to go after leaving Liverpool.
The Egyptian star joined Liverpool from Italian side Roma in the summer of 2017 for 42 million euros and during his career with the Reds he managed to achieve many achievements, most famously winning the English Premier League title twice and the European Champions League once, in addition to scoring 230 goals for the team.

“Salah is in no rush to decide his future at the moment, despite receiving a number of offers from clubs in the Saudi Arabian League, in addition to interest from clubs in Turkey and the United States, as well as Italy’s Juventus.”
The newspaper added that Saudi League officials have recently held talks with the Egyptian player, without revealing the identity of the club he could join if the deal is completed.
He noted that the current offer from Saudi Arabia is financially less than Salah’s offer last year before he decided to renew his contract with Liverpool at the time.
The report confirms that financial aspects are an important element in the player’s decision, in addition to the contract period and the sporting project that will be presented by the club that wants to sign him, as Salah envisages his next destination to be a team capable of serious competition for titles and championships.
