As Iran and the US approach the ‘Declaration of Principles’ that will reopen the Strait of Hormuz, many dire issues will be discussed over the next few months or so.

Contributor Steve Clemons talks to Negar Mortazavi, senior fellow at the Center for International Policy, and Colin Clarke, executive director at the Soufan Center, about the challenges ahead.

These include Israel’s escalating war in Lebanon, which Iran wants to end, and President Trump’s renewed demand for more countries to join the Abraham Accords.
