Social media witnessed a remarkable interaction between French club Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi club Al-Ahly after the Parisian side won the Champions League title for the second season in a row.
The Parisian giant won the title of European champion yesterday, Saturday, beating Arsenal (4-3) on penalties, after the end of regular and extra time, a positive draw (1-1).
Paris Saint-Germain posted a tweet on their official account to celebrate the achievement of winning the European Championship back-to-back, the same feat achieved by Al Ahly in the elite level of the AFC Champions League.
The French club wrote: “The feeling of the elite was right twice in a row,” before sending a direct message to Al-Ahly saying: “Morning Champions,” attaching the tweet to the two cup symbols.

Al-Ahly’s response was not long in coming as Al-Raqi’s official page reacted to the message, stressing that only the big clubs realize the value of this type of achievement.
Al-Ahli’s reply said: “A great feeling that only grown-ups know,” before ending his message with the phrase “Golden evening” in symbols of the tournament.
The two tweets sparked widespread interaction between fans of the two clubs who celebrated the friendly exchange between the European and Asian champions, a scene that reflected the mutual respect between the two sides after achieving back-to-back continental triumphs.
