After months of speculation, Manchester United defender Harry Maguire settled his future at Old Trafford last month by signing a one-year deal with the option of a further year after he was a key factor in the Red Devils’ rise to prominence under manager Michael Carrick this season.
However, despite this, reports from Italy suggest that the England defender is looking elsewhere outside of his country and a decision could be made during next summer’s Mercato, raising questions about the purpose of the latest renewal move.

Inter Milan have been offered Manchester United’s 33-year-old centre-back Harry Maguire, who kicked Tuchel out of England’s 2026 World Cup squad.

Manchester United’s decision to sign Maguire to a new contract could be due to recent injuries to Matthijs de Ligt and Lessandro Martinez, so the Red Devils are unlikely to agree to his departure unless they receive an attractive offer.
