British media have been covering Arsenal’s celebrations with their fans as the networks have allocated live coverage near the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal came one step away from making European history, but lost the final on penalties after a 1-1 draw after extra time.

Despite the bitterness of the defeat, Arsenal’s journey in the continental championship was remarkable as they went away from the competition unbeaten in regulation time with 11 wins from 3 games and a draw before going all the way to the final.

Arsenal remain unbeaten as the team to have gone the most European Cup and Champions League games without winning the title after taking their tally to 226 in the continental competition.

The club are now preparing for a new phase, starting with a deal to extend the contract of coach Mikel Arteta, whose current contract runs until the summer of 2027 and is attracting attention from several clubs, in addition to strengthening the ranks in the summer transfer market in the hope of a strong return to the Champions League and trying to break the historic loop.
