Slot replacement…The truth about Liverpool’s deal with Iraola

Mercato expert Fabrizio Romano revealed the truth about Liverpool’s agreement with the Spaniard. Andoni IraolaBournemouth coach to succeed Arne Slott.

Liverpool announced Slott’s sudden departure today, Saturday, while Iraola’s contract with Bournemouth expires at the end of next month.

Romano said on his YouTube channel. Andoni Iraola will be Liverpool’s new manager and the two sides will agree terms on a contract next week (which starts on Monday).

Romano added. “Liverpool have already decided that Iraola is Slott’s successor as Reds officials have placed him as first, second and third choice and there are currently no other candidates for the position.”

“Official talks between Liverpool and Iraola will begin in the coming days, but the Reds’ plan is clear that Ando will be the new manager and I expect a final agreement to be reached soon.”

“Iraola met with AC Milan and was also linked with Crystal Palace a few months ago and he has an offer on the table from Bayer Leverkusen, but the Spanish coach always said wait… I won’t sign because I have other priorities… He was waiting for the opportunity to coach Liverpool.”
