The Real Madrid star repeats his habit at Mercato

There has been talk of the return of star Dani Ceballos real madridReal Betis, as a “long series” repeated every summer.

The file has returned to the fore ahead of the start of the summer transfer window as Ceballos is reportedly keen on a return to Real Betis and the Andalusian club would be open to the matter.

Mundo Deportivo newspaper reported that Real Betis have yet to make any official move for the player, but are content to wait for developments, although Ceballos is fitting into the club’s sporting plans.

Ceballos is 29 years old and has a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2027, but he intends to leave due to his lack of participation in the merengues.

Ceballos was close to leaving Real Madrid and moving to Marseille last summer for €11m plus €4m in variables, a deal that was almost done between the two clubs, but it collapsed due to the player’s rejection at the last minute.

Real Betis president Angel Haro has confirmed more than once that his club is not ready to pay big money to re-sign Ceballos, who left the club in the summer of 2017 after paying a €15 million release clause.
