Media reports have revealed a major move by Turkish side Besiktas to sign a player from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nasr in the current summer transfer window as part of the club’s plan to strengthen its ranks ahead of the start of the new season.
Saudi newspaper Al-Youm, citing informed sources, reports that Al-Nasr management has given a preliminary agreement to the Brazilian Wesley leaving on loan, including a clause that gives Besiktas the right to buy the contract permanently after the end of the season.
Wesley completed his loan spell at Spain’s Real Sociedad at the end of the 2025-26 season and returned to Al-Nasri before the Turkish club entered into advanced talks to sign him.
Sources say talks between the two sides are seeing remarkable progress in light of Besiktas’ desire to settle the deal quickly, while Al Nasr are working out the final financial details before giving the official green light.
