“Barcelona” has reached an official agreement with “Newcastle United”, stipulating the transfer of English winger Anthony Gordon to the ranks of the Catalan team, extending the contract for five seasons until the summer of 2031.
It is a move that confirms the club’s desire to strengthen its attacking project with a player who has established himself as one of the most influential elements in the English Premier League and on the European scene in recent years.
Barcelona today unveiled their new England star Anthony Gordon as an official first-team player after signing a contract extension until 2031 from Newcastle United.

After four-and-a-half seasons with Everton, including a short-term loan spell at Preston North End, Gordon moved to Newcastle United in January 2023, beginning a new phase where he transformed from promising player to one of the pillars of the McBays project.
In his first full season with the team, he finished the season with 12 goals and 10 assists, winning the club’s player of the year award and following big names such as Gascoigne, Shearer and Andy Cole.
Gordon’s contribution was not limited to numbers as he established himself as one of Europe’s strongest and hardest-working wingers thanks to his ability to press continuously, his decisive dribbling and his versatility in attacking roles between left winger and straight forward;
