The case of the Merengue coach is pending an election
Real Madrid’s presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme has reached an agreement with Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta to take over the technical management of the Merengues if the young businessman wins the elections to be held on June 7, according to the famous Spanish journalist Miguel Soriano.
Soriano, who recently interviewed Riquelme, said on Friday that everything between the two sides had already been settled.

Soriano has confirmed that the Spanish coach is excited about the idea of leading Real Madrid, despite having an offer to extend his contract with Arsenal.
The Spanish journalist asked Riquelme a question. “If I say that I think that Mikel Arteta is your coach at Real Madrid, you have a choice, you can either deny, admit, or just smile,” and the presidential candidate replied with a smile.
The news comes after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez reached a final agreement with Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, waiting for the election to be decided in his favor to officially announce the deal.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are currently gearing up for an intense Champions League final against PSG in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, tomorrow, Saturday.
