Microsoft teases new Surface devices and ‘new PC era’

Davuluri says that whatever is coming “is not a new version of the OS,” so that rules out the possibility of Windows 12 being announced at Microsoft’s Build developer conference next week. Separately, a Windows account on X sent out a similar tweet, promising a “new PC era” with plans pointing to where Computex is held in Taipei.

Nvidia is said to be about to re-enter the Windows Arm market with its chips, the N1 and N1X. I wrote yesterday that the collaboration between Microsoft and Nvidia on these chips could make sense, and Microsoft could be teasing the announcement of Nvidia chips and the Surface devices that will install them.
