Cancelo’s style… Why was Barcelona’s announcement about Gordon’s deal delayed?

Deco, Bojan, Laporta and Juste also left the club premises when they came to attend the ceremony to announce the deal.

The player was scheduled to sign the contract with the club at exactly one o’clock and then appear in front of the media half an hour later, but everything has now been delayed until at least four o’clock in the evening.

This is not the first time that Barcelona have faced a similar situation, as the same thing happened to Joao Cancelo in the past when the player returned on loan from Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal last January.

At the time, the Portuguese was supposed to sign the contract on a specific date, but there was another long delay and almost the same scenario was repeated as a problem with the paper procedures forced Cancelo to wait around 4 hours before the contracts were officially signed.
